Crystal Dowd

Crystal has 20+ years of commercial lending experience and has successfully managed and directed individual commercial lending departments as well as regional commercial lending operations supporting $75MM to $250MM portfolios in both credit union and banking industries. Her experience encompasses commercial credit underwriting, commercial loan administration, and commercial lending training and development.

Crystal's roles throughout her career provide her with the hands-on tools needed to successfully guide all aspects of commercial lending operations. In addition, Crystal has spent a vast amount of time training and mentoring other credit union professionals in all aspects of commercial lending and imparting her knowledge at America’s Credit Unions (Formerly CUNA) professional training events.

John Ramsey

John has 10+ years of commercial lending experience with credit unions. Most recently, John managed all commercial credit and loan administration for a $4B institution. He has personally underwritten over $300MM in commercial loans, including CRE, Owner Occupied, and Construction loan transactions. He has extensive experience in credit underwriting, portfolio management, loan administration, and construction draw management. John is passionate about the credit union movement, and wants to see credit unions succeed in the commercial lending space. His experience has given him a unique perspective in what barriers prevent credit unions from growing their commercial portfolio.

Astrid Csida

Astrid has 20+ years of experience in the financial services industry including 15+ years in the Member Business lending field. Before joining CU Strategic Services LLC, Astrid was employed as Junior Auditor and Business Lending Credit Analyst at a $900M Credit Union in Upstate New York.

Astrid holds an associate degree in International Business and a master’s degree in Management of Small and Medium Enterprises.

Jenny has 30+ years of experience in the financial industry, including 20+ years of commercial lending experience. Jenny’s expertise includes analyzing financial data, assessing credit risk, providing data-driven recommendations to support sound lending decision, and ensuring adherence to lending guidelines. Jenny is known for her analytical precision and attention to detail, and she is dedicated to facilitating smooth and efficient loan processes.
